The benefit of swimming for children of school and preschool age is certainly great: in addition to physical endurance and general hardening of the body, the child will receive such benefits and corrections of the state of his body as:

  • posture correction, development of coordination, better sleeping and better metabolism, training of the entire musculoskeletal system, gaining the skills of proper breathing (deep),
  • extracts the effect to stimulate rapid growth, hardening of substances, strengthening of the immune system, prevention of SARS,
  • strengthening the effect from other types of training (if the child plays sports).

The benefit of swimming for children has a good effect on the coordination of movements, develops motor skills and promotes harmonious physical development. Having a massage effect, water is an excellent prevention of circulatory and nervous system diseases.

The air temperature in the changing rooms is about 23 °C, in the pool up to 25 °C, in the pool (water) about 26 °C.

As a result of temperature differences, children receive prevention of colds.

Correctly set by the trainer breathing is an excellent workout for the respiratory muscles. 

Training in the pool with a trainer allows you to increase the volume of the lungs, increase the strength and tone of the respiratory muscles, and increase the body's resistance to hypoxia (oxygen starvation). Oxygen saturation directly affects brain function. Children who regularly go swimming are more self-organised, attentive and smart.

Are there any contraindications for swimming in the pool?

Doctors advise refuse from swimming for children with such diseases as:

  • epilepsy,
  • seizure syndrome,
  • congenital heart defects,
  • angina pectoris
  • heart rhythm disturbance;
  • after injuries of the abdominal cavity and brain, rhinitis (allergic, seasonal, cold, chronic), skin diseases with a violation of the integrity of the skin (dermatitis, scabies, eczema, etc.).

Children with eye diseases: conjunctivitis, keratitis, blepharitis should visit the pool with caution.

You can start swimming with your child from birth.

At the «United Swim club», we accept for training children from 6 y.o.
